We are located in the beautiful Creuse Valley near the borders of Indre and Haute-Vienne. Within a very short distance you will find breathtaking scenery along the banks of the Creuse, historic towns, cultural sites, castles, ancient churches and fortifications dating back to the Crusader era and even earlier.
The area is also known as the Valley of the Painters in reference to the number of painters who have settled here, including Claude Monet, Armand Guillaumin and Francis Picabia. Musicians and poets have also contributed to the area's fame, including Chopin, George Sand and Maurice Rollinat.

Just a 10-minute drive away is Lake Eguzon, the largest lake in the region, covering an area of 312 ha and 17 km in length. Here you will find plenty of activities to keep everyone busy, including sailing, windsurfing, pedal boats, water skiing, canoeing, paddle boarding, towed buoys, hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking.You will also find beaches with supervised swimming in July and August at the beach of Chambon with an inflatable water park and catapult.
If water sports seem too much for you to handle, then why not go on a comfortable and relaxing boat ride around the lake, admiring all of the sights along the shoreline.
